Janna Moretti is a fiction writer living in Gainesville, Florida, with her husband and daughter. Her work has been published in Consequence Magazine, Raleigh Review, Every Day Fiction, and elsewhere. A professor of English at Santa Fe College, she also mentors for PEN America’s Prison Writing Program. In 2019, Moretti was chosen as the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts-funded fellowship at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She received her MFA in Fiction from University of Florida in 2018. Her MA in English and BA in Political Science: International Relations were granted from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Moretti is currently at work on a collection inspired by her time in the United States Marine Corps.
